General Trivia Championship Event – Invitation Only

• Location: Rockford Corner Bar (upstairs in their private event space)

• Date: Saturday, October 17th, 5pm-9:30pm

• The lineup is set!  Here are the 21 teams that will be competing at the 2026 Trivia Night Championship Event!

• The event will go from 5pm until we finish (probably between 9pm and 9:30pm is my best guess).

  • You can show up whenever you like... but I do recommend showing up as early as possible to eat so that the buffet line doesn't get log jammed right before trivia starts at 7pm!  I'd like everyone to have their food before trivia starts!  FYI, Eric from Trivia Cat plans to be there well before 5pm setting up and he might get lonely.

• There is public street parking if you're lucky to find a spot.  Also, there is a pretty big public parking lot one block north of the Rockford Corner Bar.

• Complimentary southwest buffet will be open from 5pm until 7:30pm.  After 7:30pm, cookies for dessert!

  • The buffet will consist of a bunch of individual stuff so you can create a dish to your liking:  chicken breast, pork, black bean patties, cilantro lime rice, lettuce (so you can make a salad if you are a vegetarian), grape tomatoes, corn, black beans, red onion, aged white cheddar, avocado, fresh cilantro, flour tortillas, corn tortillas, street corn dip, salsa, various sauces

  • Homemade cookies baked in house at the Rockford Corner Bar will be provided for a sweet snack after dinner

  • Fountain beverages are complimentary and are self-serve at the soda station

  • Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase either at the upstairs patio bar and/or with the waitstaff

  • The full Rockford Corner Bar menu is available, so if you can still purchase stuff on there if you want to

• Trivia will start at 7pm until we finish (around 9pm to 9:30pm).  Expect the same familiar format that you are accustomed to!

• Team Size Limit: 6 people per team (due to the physical table sizes and to allow as many teams as possible to participate)

• Seating is pre-assigned.  Look for the table with your team name on it!

• Cost: $25 per person (will cover food and fountain drinks) - ALL TEAMS HAVE ALREADY RSVPED AND PREPAID.  THANK YOU!

• Prizes: There will be some Funko prizes and gift cards, just like a regular Trivia Cat event!

  • All participants will also receive a prize!  A one-of-a-kind collectible Trivia Cat pin!  (that's pretty cool)

• Other expectations:  I hope we all have fun and perhaps socialize with teams we've never met before!  The event space is limited in size, so expect some cramped quarters!  I know some of you are already used to tighter spaces depending on the venue(s)  you typically play at!
